An enchantment to rebuild a most well-liked Loch Leven birdwatching spot destroyed by fireplace has raised almost £30,000.

NatureScot’s Mill Cover on the sting of Kinross was gutted by the blaze, which was believed to have been started deliberately, in February.

The money was raised on crowdfunding site MyParkScotland.

The distinctive conceal, in-built 2011, worth about £35,000, and NatureScot has devoted to make up any financial shortfall to rebuild it.

The Mill conceal had gained awards for its construction and design.

NatureScot talked about the charred stays of the conceal had been eradicated in early March, and the placement fenced off for public safety.

The foundations survived the fireplace and may help the choice building.

NatureScot’s reserve supervisor Neil Mitchell talked about the response from the native folks and regular public to the fundraising enchantment had been “wonderful.”

He talked about: “Given this chicken watching web site’s recognition and improbable loch aspect location close to Kinross, we’re decided to interchange the conceal as quickly as attainable.”
